The role of an SEM Specialist is to successfully manage clients’ search campaigns, and foster strong client relationships.
Just Media’s Emeryville, CA office is hiring whip-smart, self-motivated Search Engine Marketing Specialist who enjoys multi-tasking, and has the ability to think laterally, quickly, and independently.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Help develop client search strategies. Integrate search campaigns into client’s overall media plan.
-Drive high-value customers to interact with our client’s products and services
-Troubleshoot issues/concerns and work with online partners to resolve as needed.
-Assist in managing relationships with search engines
-Act as point of contact for client team. Prepare call agendas, and follow up with call recaps.
-Develop keyword lists, set budget levels, write ad creatives, test landing page messaging, landing page layout, audience segmentation, placements, networks, and 3rd-party tools.
-Develop campaign goal projections/forecasting based on historical performance and future campaign initiatives
-Produce and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign reports measuring performance and effectiveness of search campaigns.
-Assist in developing strategy and recommendations for new business
-Assist in training new employees regarding SEM best practices
Need to haves:
-Google AdWords Search Certification
-1+ year(s) experience in SEM
-Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop recommendations
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to thrive in a flexible, team-based environment and ability to learn/adapt quickly
-Ability to work proactively, bringing new ideas and strategic suggestions to the larger team
-Self-motivation and integrity
-Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
-Working proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables and vlookups) & MS Powerpoint (make cohesive presentations showcasing client recommendations)
