The role of an SEM Analyst is to prepare, analyze, report on, and optimize clients’ search engine marketing campaigns.
Just Media’s Emeryville, CA office is hiring whip-smart, self-motivated Search Engine Marketing Analyst who enjoys multi-tasking, and has the ability to think laterally, quickly, and independently.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Monitor campaign performance
-Troubleshoot issues/concerns and work with online partners to resolve as needed.
-Assist in managing relationships with search engines and third-party partners
-Assist in client call preparation. Attend client calls and meetings as required
-Develop keyword lists, write ad creatives, test landing page messaging, landing page layout, audience segmentation, placements, networks, and 3rd-party tools.
-Produce and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign reports measuring performance and effectiveness of search campaigns.
Need to Haves:
-Experience working in Google AdWords and Bing Ads
-Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop recommendations
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to thrive in a flexible, team-based environment and ability to learn/adapt quickly
-Self-motivation and integrity
-Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
-Working proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables and vlookups) & MS Powerpoint (make cohesive presentations showcasing client recommendations)
