In the ever-changing landscape of digital media advertising, paid social media finds itself as a front-runner of this evolution. Facebook is consistently changing the way we think about Paid Social Media, with Twitter and LinkedIn following suit. In the wake of all this, brands and businesses need guidance on how to effectively run a paid social media campaign. Enter, the Paid Social Media Intern.
The Paid Social Media Intern will be responsible for reporting on and analyzing paid advertising for B2B and B2C clients across social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit and Tumblr. He/She will have the motivation to expand their knowledge into the broader scope of not only paid social media but digital media advertising technology and strategy.
Bachelor’s Degree (or in process of obtaining), preferably in Marketing or Advertising; or equivalent work experience
Proficient in MS Office (Strongest in Excel)
Knowledge and understanding of paid vs. organic social media strategy
Exceptional organization and communication skills
Autonomous workstyle, and ability to work with teams outside of their office location
Highly motivated with a strong desire to meet or exceed expectations
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
A good sense of humor
The Following Skills are a Huge Plus (Not required):
Facebook Power Editor Experience
Google AdWords Experience
Ad Serving experience
LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest advertising experience
Organizing campaign materials and setting up ads in the platforms
Reporting and analyzing paid campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest
Gathering reports for campaign links in our ad server
Weekly and Bi-weekly reporting on campaign performance
Internal communication for analysis of campaigns between Paid Social, Media, and Analytics Teams
Constantly stay on top of platform improvements and new offerings in the social media space
Assist in social media strategy creation
Work with Data Team to ensure all tagging and ad serving is properly executed
Additional duties as assigned or requested
