Just Media on a roll, adding key executives, after successive years of rapid growth

The addition of veteran COO and SVP Analytics & Platforms brings further scale to this proudly independent media agency

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA (March 23, 2018) –  Independent media specialist agency Just Media, Inc. announces two executive appointments amidst its continued rapid growth. Agency veteran Alan Burgis has joined the team as Chief Operating Officer. Focused on continuing smooth customer operations, Burgis is tasked with overseeing day-to-day agency operations, including media, finance and business operations. Data innovation junky Heather Fitzgerald has joined as SVP Analytics & Platforms. Fitzgerald is charged with fostering the agency’s data sciences, analytics and media delivery platform teams. These appointments come on the back of 57% year over year growth for the agency — and 43% YoY growth over the year prior.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Burgis brings tremendous global experience and leadership to the table for Just Media and its clients in his role as COO. Previously, as the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer of Havas Worldwide, San Francisco, Burgis led the agency to more than 700% growth in 10 years. Prior to his time with Havas, Burgis was Managing Partner at interactive marketing agency Agency.com and President of Exile on Seventh. Burgis also previously held CEO roles for Euro RSCG and FCB, both in Australia. His customer-focused approach stems from his time on the client side in Australia, where he held senior marketing positions with such household names as Bristol-Myers and Frito Lay.

With a career innovating analytics and media platforms on both the client and agency side of the business, Fitzgerald most recently held the role of SVP Data & Analytics for DigitasLBi where she impacted brands such as Lyft, Pandora, PlayStation and Taco Bell. Prior to that, Fitzgerald was the Head of Analytics/Marketing Sciences for both OMD West Coast and mcgarrybowen. She also held analytics and digital media roles with Big Fuel and Organic, Inc. She’s been hands-on with customers covering everything from data science, analytics and business intelligence to optimize and automate the media.
